Introduction to Urban Permaculture Design

This Urban City Block Permaculture Design course is run by Matt Mortan at The Old Boot Factory in East Oxford

The course begins with an Introduction to Permaculture. If you have already completed this elsewhere this initial weekend is optional.

The Introduction will cover the ethics and principles of Permaculture and introduce the general design elements, in particular zones, stacking, and urban gardening. We will end the weekend with a short design exercise based on local gardens and/or the site of the course. Our aim is that you will come away from this initial weekend with a good general knowledge of  the basics of Permaculture  and with some understanding and experience of the design process and how you might apply it to your everyday life.
